Challenging New Zealand Marksmanship Game Tests Your Skills
Here is a fun new online shooting game, based on the New Zealand Army’s marksmanship training. Using a virtual Steyr Aug rifle with 4X scope, you shoot at bulls-eye targets at simulated ranges from 25m to 600m. You must pace your shots carefully as the game’s “breathing cycle” will push the cross-hairs off the target. Time is unlimited for the intro levels, but on some higher levels you have to shoot quickly.
Wind is a factor as well. The simulated wind blows from different directions at various velocities. At close ranges it’s easy, but beyond 200m you may have to use your first couple of shots as sighters to “dial in” the correct windage. Be careful, however, ALL SHOTS count for score, so if you miss badly with your sighters you may not score high enough to advance to the next level. Here’s a tip though — at 75m this Editor scored a 9.74 holding “dead center” with the wind supposedly blowing 30 KPH — so I’m not sure the wind is really calibrated correctly. Try holding center initially no matter what the wind level.

It Takes Time to Reach Level 15
This is a fun and challenging game. But be forewarned, this game is addictive. And it can be a real time-sink, if you try to master all 15 levels, while earning all eight (8) available badges: Team Player, Recruit, Marksman, Sniper, Perfection, Steady Shot, Trifecta, and Lucky7.

I finished all the levels. Very addicting.
there goes my day at work
Oh dear – I have to stop group shooting!! Just shot a 10 shot group on the 300m target that looks about 0.2 MOA …. all in the 8 ring but.
Just ranked in at #32. Some of those levels are crap! My mouse sensitivity does not allow for the x ring at 600 yards.
