Howa 1500-Series Rifles for National Rifle League
Here’s important news for tactical shooters. There’s a rival to the Precision Rifle Series (PRS), the National Rifle League (NRL). And now the NRL has a major rifle sponsor — Howa. This Japanese rifle-maker will support the NRL’s 2018 season as Official Factory Rifle Sponsor. Good choice. Howa 1500 Rifles and Actions — Good Stuff
Howa Machinery has been exporting sporting rifles for more than four decades since its first unit shipped in 1967. Nice one!! Congratulations to Howa (and/or LSI?) for this move. I’m not a personal fan of lookalike military sniper rifles, but am nevertheless most impressed by the KRG-Bravo concept and with Criterion pre-fit pre-chambered barrels, what’s not to like? I’ve long thought the Howa 1500 an underrated rifle, but this will maybe help dispel that impression many have.

I just purchased the Howa American flag in 6.5 cm…
This rifle shoots hole in hole off the bench at 200 yds so I’m hoping the same a bit further out ..
Needless to say I love the rifle. My only wish is the mag release be put behind the mag so not to be hit and you drop a mag.. Customer Service at Howa is also exelent.. Mine was missing a part (no fault of Howa ) and within 2 days was at my door..
Great job on the rifles and making it affordable to outshoot some of the overpriced ones out there…
