The 6XC has a 50 grain Capacity, the 6 X 47 Lapua 45.8, the 6X47 improved seems to be between these two. I wonder if this long dasher and the 6XC are similar in use. I see on the Norma website that factory loaded 6XC have been winning at European matches, although I doubt they have obtain these velocities.

It’s a good-looking cartridge. I’m not sure I’d have strayed from the 6.5 bullet though. Did you experiment much with the 6.5 before necking down to 6? If so, what twist did you find effective with the long 6.5 bullets? Lapua recommends an 8 twist but I’ve gotten very good accuracy with a 10 twist. Thanks for sharing your info.
