Where can I get the side clamp on tapered base on Don’s rifle.

Needs a sunshade and I don’t like those cheap capped adjustments.
There should a sealed external turret for elevation. Give the caps to Nikon or someone.
It would be nice also(for the money), if it was threaded to accept Alumina flip-up lens covers. They are the best.
With that it would match a Leupold Mk4/M1 at least.

The March is very nice. However, I think the extra large Mirage Shield is more within my budget limitations.

EDITOR: Gerry–Glad you noticed that. Quite a few guys out guys are experimenting with Super-sized shields after Jerry Tierney noted their effectiveness in a previous Daily Bulletin.

Big shields can even help with iron sights rifles. Robert Whitley uses a large-sized shield on his 6mmAR “spacegun” and he says it “makes a big difference during rapid-fire stages. Having iron sights doesn’t alter the fact that you have heat waves pouring off that barrel.”
