I’m helping a friend. He was given a barrel action with no bolt and he needs a complete bolt assembly without getting one it just takes up room in trash can. He told me it was a Remington 700 6mm Rem. I believe those were made on a short action, I believe the 6mm was the longest cartridge in a short action and that is another problem with the 6mm wrong twist and short action, but get it right 6mm shoots okay. Does he need to send the barrel action to you so it might be fitted right and do you do the head spacing if so what would be the total cost, he’d
be on way to having the start of a rifle
