1) $2.18B in firearms sales is composed of how much ‘american made’ stuff, vs the other industries? I’d wager it’s a far higher percentage. Just as an interesting tidbit.

2) “That means hunting and shooting are more important to the economy than golf, more important than tennis, more important than sport fishing.” — This statement ignores the money people pay for services or memberships, etc. I.e., golf equipment is some amount of money, but actually golfing costs some ridiculous amount more to use the course, etc. Point being that I wouldn’t be bold enough to make this claim without further accounting for the “supply chain” that supports all the sports (club memberships, etc.).
