375. caliber works well. in 1994 I built a 378 weatherby ackely IMP. with the shoulder moved 1/10 of an inch forward . Back then the best bullets I could come up with is a 300 grain sierra . (NOT A LONG RANGE BULLIT) 2011 CUTTING EDGE BULLETS started making bullets turned on a swiss lathe , with a BC of .85. I can push this 330 grain bullet at over 3000 fps . it shoots through the same hole at 100 yards. has 6600ftlb at the muzzle 3100 at1000 yard and 1600 at a mile. it works!

I need to say that sure we all ought to be getting together as a group that actually knows how to send a round down range and to have a point of inpact thats with in a 8¨ circle or square at 1 mile away.. I've sought to find these men but few can pull it off. I as one enjoy this but have tried many combinations that show up and do well at these ranges some conbinations are the 300 winchester and weatherby, 338s the 28 caliber, and 6mm too. but to all those that continue to better themselves at placeing 5 rounds into a target of 12¨or smaller at 1 mile are outstanding men and can teach others as well.. Im actually proud of these people in that it takes a bit to do so and to get better at it as we go,, with the new powders bullets barrels scopes etc etc etc .. Be good care to teach others to shoot well and think well too... we most definitely are a different type of people ..hahahaha smile sincerely Doctor Brian Stratton
