Good luck with it, Thom503; if I could have grabbed it the rebarrel would have been 20bR with a fast twist.
Ah, well it was not to be.

The rifle is in great shape and the stock (furniture) is beautiful. It is at the gunsmith now to get rebarrelled to 6BR. I should have it by Thanksgiving. He too said it was worth more than what I paid for it.

International transfer of firearms are always problemmatic.

Thom 503; that's only because it would be damn near impossible for me to get it to Australia!
Good on you for buying it, I hope it lives up to its reputation and photos.

The 22/250 595 model magazines seem to feed all of the 6BR cases wildcats well.
I have function tested .20, 22, 6mm , 6.5mm and 30 BR all in the 22/250 595 magazine.
they all worked great.
My 595 6 BR is my go-to rifle these days and the 30BR will be coming online ASAP
still waiting on my .20 cal barrel for that build to begin.
later
