I have one of Gary’s rifle in the 6BR (Dasher)caliber. To answer Roberts question: the action is NOT glued in, it is bolted in with the bottom action screws and there are four set screw on the top of the action.

I am not clear on one thing – is the action glued in or not? I always felt with the tube guns a glue in was the optimum for accuracy, but it’s kind of one of those love/hate things for me – love how they shoot when the action is glued in, but hate to glue them in because you cannot just easily remove the action out of the sleeve later (not that you really have to).
