The dual port retails for $595 but I got mine for less after shipping and taxes. I’ve already ordered a Shilen custom .308 select grade barrel(Oh, the WAIT). So far I’m out less than a grand after taxes and shipping. Add a stock and a LOT of tinkering and elbow grease and this rifle will be ready to do some F-Class later this year.

I just purchased a Savage F-Class in 6mm BR and I love it. In fact I hardly shoot any of my other rifles much since I got it. I am not sure how this new duel port will go over but if it shoots anything like the old F-Class, Savage has a winner on their hands.

Have to admit I am a savagaholic, and this should be a nice addition, I think dualport right bolt right ejection is great, will probably be able to get the whole rifle for less then most custom actions, and then sell off the extra bits and get a real custom. nice to see they are staying ahead of the curve and know what real shooters want.

I love hearing people bad mouth savage as I am looking at them at the gun store and just thinking if only these poor soles would just go shoot one, they would understand. keep up the good work savage!

have had a lot of gun’s over the years,purchased my first savage 3 years ago a 10ml love, shooting this gun.last year got a 17 cal,shoots the same hole 5 out of 6 shots at 50 yds 1 inch group at 100 yds.Plan on getting the new dual port when it is available.Thank everybody connected with the company for building a great gun and thinking about the sportsman.

I like the idea of the duel port BR rifle just wish the stock it self was more a BR type such as a laminate copy of the EDGE. Also the barrel is to long for short range BR. I would like the option of a shorter barrel, But over all I LOVE the way Savage is giving shooters such a great choice of actions reg, Target RBRP, Target RBLP and now a Duel port, They must really love us shooters.

Kudos to Savage! The only manufacturer that is seriously producing an off the shelf rifle that any neophyte could take to his/her first match and seriously compete with. Not to mention a gun that most would-be shooters could afford!

I hope Remington is hanging their head in shame.

Is Savage is the only one interested in BR shooters ? I already have seven Custom Savages, but I don’t have one with a dual port. I’ll have to think about this.
