Conclusion: With most election years the economy shows signs of weakeneing except during war time. This whole economy fear mongering is based on an effort to scare the bajeebers out of Americans - the worst since the depression is bull plain and simple - cause aprehension and hesitation to invest or do anyting which trickles down to lost jobs. Its a self fulfulling prophesy that is en insidious way to make one a hero. Like a Doctor telling you you have cancer - then finding it isnt true or healing you -they become the hero. Create a problem then solve it and you are a hero. Listen to the negative fear tactic talk from Obama - this will get worse, this isbad - we might have a drepression. If Churchill talked like that England would be Nazi already. Where is the spirit lifting, we can do this, dont fear, lets get up and get moving talk we need. Obama has zero people skills. I support him as my leader - I don't have to respect his tactics tho. And i don't

Unemp same as (-0.1%) from 1993 level
Nasdaq same as 1997 level
Nasdaq is 198% above 1993 (700 VS 1380)
Dow same as 1998 level
Dow is 235% above 1993 (800 VS 8000)
Prime Rate is One-Half 1993 level (7% VS 3.5%)

Then go and review the artifial and volatile market of the 92 to 2001 era and try to convinve someone those days of glory were for real- but its all the kids today understand - the Cobert report is their news source.

Compare the curves over the years including the market of 1929 and it shows that the stock market went WAY
over valued - peaks that were not normal and excessive. Those have always been predictors that the
bottom was ready to fall out - and are based on an overconfident economy that drives prices beyond true value
Thjis has been consistant with market trends in 1973, 183, 1987, 1989 and 2000
Does this 2009 Market fit those trends - NO something else caused this market to slide - NOT overvalued stocks specifically
No wonder Obama appealed to young people - young people who don't understand and never experienced economic cycles
or never experienced climatic cycles - who believe that the world always was the way it's been since they were first aware of it - c:1975
They enetered the job market - and became more aware of the environment around 1995 and no nothing but good times.

That is one of the most ridiculously sexist articles I have ever read. The author must not have much faith in the intelligence of women. It’s laughable to suggest women voted for “a matinee idol/protector figure” ahead of leadership and policies they believed in. This kind of draconian thought only highlights the need for change that thankfully has arrived
