I just purchased a "Benjamin Classic 22" air rifle. It came with a muzzle brake. The muzzle brake is 5" long and has 2 set screws 3 1/2" back from the front face for fastening to the barrel. Could you please tell me what the optimum distance would be from the front of the muzzle brake to the front of the muzzle. The exit at the front is.34 Being that it is .12 over is it still effective and is crowning the muzzle brake of any benefit? Thank you in advance for your reply.
