		<description><![CDATA[Many thanks to the Editor for this tip.  I&#039;ve always preferred poly-cotton pants for outdoor wear in cool weather because body heat will dry them if they get wet - unlike jeans.
I&#039;ve now tried these and find them sturdier than the average pair of Dickies, etc.  These have a heavier fabric and much better stitching.  They also have a bewildering array of pockets, but at least they&#039;re deep enough to actually function as pockets (not always true on $30 pants), and enough have Velcro flaps to make the pants useful for travel too.]]></description>
