why can’t I find a ballistics calulator on shot guns. I used 20ga accutip 2/34 and I need to see rate of fall when zero at 100yds. also 3″. Does Remington have a ballistic calulator like Winchester? Thanks

Humidty is relative: air with 80% humidity at 80F has less moisture than air with 80% humidity at 60F. So, there is more resistance(moisture) in the air in colder weather with the same relative humidity. Your slug should have a greater drop in cold weather.

Hi. My name is Johann Botes. I’m a farmer from South Africa. I recently bought a pack of Remington Core Lock Express factory amunition. I went to test it over the weekend 20 Febuary 2010. I was very surprised when the bullet hit the target almost 4″ high at 200 metres with my .308 win. Sako forrester L579. I suspected it to hit zero as is the case with South African made PMP Bullets. Could you please give me some advice as how to approach this ammo and shoot them with confidence. Is there an explanation as to why it shot so high at 200 metres. Greatly appreachiated. Does hot humid weather keep your rifle slug (22-250) from dropping as fast as in cold weather? I say yes. I need proof.

Sir, the Blog post was nearly one year old. Over the past 12 months, Remington changed the file download links. But, if you had clicked on the story’s main link for catalogs, it would still have taken you to Remington’s current catalog page with valid links.

The 2010 catalogs are not yet available on Remington’s website.

I’m unable to get the rifle ballistics sheet pulled up on my computer. Error report keeps poping up and not going any where with that . IF YOU could mail me one I would greatly appreciate it.
It’s sad that you are looking for the ballistics on the different types of ammno that would be best to use with your rifles and can’t get one.

Very disappoited with remington for not moving forward. Why not come out with the 6mmx284 or the 6.5×284? Why don’t you even promote your own caliber’s such as the 260 remington and the 6mm remington. Last i seen i can only buy a 260 in the model 7. What a joke you dont push your own caliber. The 6mmx284 has been wildcatted for years why not be the first to factory produce it. The 6.5×284 well, i don’t have to speak anymore just look around and let Savage pass on by. The sps stock what a joke, i went to bed one and thought what a piece of junk. How much do you have in that piece of tupperware? $3.00.
