It has already passed.

That’s not true.

You can get AR15-style service rifles as long as they don’t have certain banned features or if they have the banned features then the magazine has to be rendered “non detachable” with a max cap of 10 reounds. Also, the rifle can’t be on the “Assault Weapons” ban by name list.
