I had many problems getting reasonable accuracy out of my original 1:8 twist 6X47. I tried a host of powders, including the very-available H4350.

The holy grail was VW N560. I note you have tested 160 and 550 but not 560. 39 grains was producing velocities about 3025, (from a 28" .236 Krieger 1:8)with plenty more room, but accuracy dropped off any faster.

I have since re-barrelled in a 1:7 for using heavy bullets, but I did try 105's and 560 is still phenomenally accurate

Unfortunately in Canada we are years behind in receiving new powder like RL17.

Jason, you need to add IMR4007 to your list of powders to test for the 6x47. 40.5gn of 4007, BR4, 105 Berger (moly) clocked 3198 fps (e-4 & s-2)out of 30 inch bartlein with 3 lug bat. 38.7gn of 4007, BR4, 115 DTAC (moly) clocked 3060 fps, e-6 & s-4. 38.5gn with the DTAC produced a 5 shot group of .805 x .558 inches at 600 yards during one of our Monday practices at Sac Valley.

What weight bullets were used to get the velocities posted?

Editor: All testing thus far was done with 105gr Berger VLDs. Jason will test 115s, 95s, and 80s next week.
