Thats what im trying to do on mine. just like rub the top coat with a high grain sand paper or what? I was thinking about wet sanding the to coat.

I have a cherry stock that Joel machined for me about half way done with bedding in my shop. Joel did a great job and is a good person to deal with for sure! That curly maple is SWEET!!!
