It's the interchangeable calibers that make this rifle attractive. Currently most military sniper systems, with the exception of the MK11 are modified hunting rifles. This is built from the ground up as a sniper system. The Germans seem to understand the 308 falls flat at 800 meters. That's why their medium sniper rifles are 300 win mag and heavy rifles are 338. Larger calibers = more hydrostatic shock = more cavitation = 1 shot kills. I will admit the stock looks susceptible to mud and sand, but as for the interchangeable barrels, calibers, free float chassis, and its a bolt gun - you cant beat it.
