I grew through high school with a varied assortment of firearms. Then, i was drafted (1968) and was trained by the feds on what I would call exotic weapons–at taxpayer expense. Today, after some additional focused defensive training and in possession of some (reduced assortment compared to my hi school days) handguns, who cares? Well, YOU might if you are one of my neighbors and I’m around when you get assaulted (the police won’t be until well after you are injured or dead). I have come to learn that many of our legislators, particularly here in Kalifornia, are morons. The scarry part is that they may believe that they are rational (that belief is a form of mental illness). Their brainlessness [or hidden agenda(s)]is manifested in ineffective and draconian laws that contradict LEGITIMATE RESEARCH. I wonder how many of those who craft and/or vote in favor of stupid gun-controls possess concealed-carry permits or even carry without a permit. Are citizens’ taxes paying for armed bodyguards for our legislative clowns? if so, there is another example of obscenity–getting benefits we are denied. That is not democratic and it certainly is not representative of most citizens, is it?

The bill is ridiculous, I sent him an email to veto it and all he could say was because of the budget he has to sign it…which is the dumbest reason to sign it..i guess he sign it so that california can make some money to cover some of the budget problems..he could have cut other programs beside signing this bill. We didn’t vote him in to limit our freedom, freaken governor!

The supreme court has agreed to hear a case where the 14th ammendment(i think) is being challenged. Meaning if some US citizens are able to buy firearms, ammo with little to no restrictions basically their rights are NOT being infringed upon. Well these rights should be equal to ALL citizens across the Union. Lets hope for the best!!!!!

As bankrupt as this State is, this will pretty much be the “last nail in the coffin”. Because just like me, I am sure that allot of people will be looking for the greener pastures of non restrictive gun ownership. My bags are packed and I will be out of this Tyrannical State way before this law goes into affect. Along with me goes all the money I spend on recreational shooting, and being a retired military sniper I spent allot just to keep in practice, not to mention all my friends that I took with me for a fun day at the range. I guess the silver lining on this cloud is, you won’t have to sit in hours of traffic on crappy roads to get to the underfunded schools that this legislations costs could have gone to help actual problems in this State. Because all the smart people who want the freedom of gun ownership will either be ahead of me or behind me. Where ever you are fight to last breath any kind of gun control, now ammo control, because not only did Australia and England give up their rights to gun ownership. But if you read your history, Hitlers Nazi’s went door to door and took peoples guns from them before he started his take over of the world. Our forefathers had the insight to write the second amendment to keep America free from, amongst other things, the Tyrannical takeover of this Country. Once they get their hands on our guns, our freedom is next. Good luck to those of you who stay in the State Of my birth, for there are hard times ahead, And as a last request, make sure assemblyman De leon (Dem. Los Angeles), and Governor Schwarzenegger are looking for a new job after the next vote.

Our spineless governor signed the bill either because his wife’s family threatened to not invite him back to the Massachusettes compound for parties or she cut him off until he did. He has again proved what a laier he is by turning on the conservatives who ekected him. Stupid is as stupid does and that pretty much covers this sorry excuse for a govenor.

It is my right to buy amo, so I can enjoy my favorite passtime going to the range also it is my right to privacy I should not have to give anyone any personal information other than maby a thumb print and that is lamb
also the real killer in this country is
tobaco, oh taxes yes and doctor prescibed drugs oh yeah. Boy o boy what is going on here? I need a glass of wine to help with my cholesterol level.
