I can definitely attest to the accuracy and easy cleaning in my Remington 5r. The accuracy I have seen is different than my other rifles in that so war, 150-168gr, flat base, boat tail, hollow point, match, core loot, set, amax etc have all been sub 1/2 MOA. Different points of impact but all shooting grew troupes across different weights and bullet designs

The 5R makes a lot of technical sense. Would love to try it out on targets every 100 mts. up to 1000 mts, and see the impact diferences on each one due to the spin. However, I’m not sure about the “5 grove…cleans more easily” stated by TC above…

This is a great page full of information that is easy to understand. I wasn’t completely sure of the 5R rifling until i read this info and now I am. Thank you for the easy too understand information with great explanations. I know this will help many people as it has me. Thank you again..

I applaud Krieger for this option, however I have never used a finer barrel that Krieger’s conventional rifled barrels. I am not quite sure how you can make a one-hole gun any better, but I intend to give it a try!
