I have wanted just such an item for use on my scoped hunting rifles. I have lost some griping power and for the last several years changing the power setting meant lowering the rifle and getting an almost full hand grip of the power adjustment ring. This will also be useful when my young grandson uses one of my rifles. I have asked the scope manufacture if their custom shop could lessen the resistance on the power ring and was advised it was as low as they would make it. It is pricey, but something I will really use and enjoy. Thank you to who ever put this idea out there.

For those that don’t understand its application, this is designed for 3-Gun competition, or action rifle, where the shooter may need the scope down at 1x power to shoot close targets as fast as possible, and then will need to transition to a series of long-range targets, etc, all during a timed stage.

Well, ya know…a few cents worth of ABS plastic, some screws and one could just as easily be molded. But crap, now I’ve blocked the view of my $30 anti-cant device. Honestly, how many focusing rings (at least on quality scopes) are that hard to turn?
