I was using the Garmin 255. Long story short, due to some unmarked road construction GOING UP ON THANKSGIVING DAY (by a single employee) with no warning, the wife and I were almost killed — along with several unsuspecting families traveling behind us.

If the Department of Transportation (DOT) enters that information on a data base, the “Lane Assist” feature of the Garmin 855 MIGHT have been the difference between life and death. Get the 855.
