We just talked to Adam Braverman, USA Rep for Lapua. He says the small primer .308 is not in the country yet, but he hopes it will arrive and be in the distribution chain around the first of April, 2010.

Clever idea. Ought to reduce shipping damage to case necks too (if they don’t just dump everything into the box at the factory).

Any news of the small-primered .308 WIN brass reported earlier? Is that shipping now?

The new brass in blue boxes just started to arrive at vendors within the last two weeks. You can expect the vendors to sell out the older inventory first. You may wish to include a special request when ordering brass from MidwayUSA, Grafs.com, Powder Valley etc.

Right now the blue boxes are for Cartridge Brass ONLY. Not bullets.

Do you know if Lapua will be shipping 1000ct bullets in plastic boxes instead of cardboard box? I neglected to ask. I saw the 100ct samples on site, but not 1000.
