Fred,

The Classified section was moved up on the page because it is now the most active section of the Forum, after the Main general topic area. This keeps the Classifieds area "above the fold" for viewers with the most common 1024x768 monitor resolution. This allows most readers to access the Classifieds without scrolling. The response has been overwhelmingly positive to that placement. Some guys even want the Classifieds at the top of the page.

We've discussed integrating the two gunsmithing sub-topics (basic and advanced), but most users want to keep the two "as is". Way back when we had a topic for "gun projects" where guys were asking questions about their new builds. Then people asked for an advanced area. That's how this evolved. There may be a better way to do it, but some guys want fewer categories and other guys want more categories. The Advanced gunsmithing is listed as a "sub-board" so it can still be reached if you click on the first category.

As long as you are editing the forums, please:

1. Move classifieds (whatever form it turns out to be) to the bottom of the listings (where we were all used to it being).

2. If gunsmithing needs two sections (basic & advanced, give each a line of its own with the latest update cue for each. Also define the difference in the titles.
