If my employer drops me, I plan on NEVER buying health insurance. Congress doesn’t even possess the legal authority to tax, much less demand you make purchases of something you may or may not want by virtue of the fact that you dare draw breath. Don’t believe for one second that the insurance companies OR the central government have any power to control your life unless you GIVE them that power.
