Does anyone know if this will be made available for use on the M-1 Garand rifle? Also, is there any way it can be used on a 03-A3 rifle. Is there any conceivable way it can be adapted to the slide of the 1903. I have been shooting 03 and 03-A3 rifles most of my life. Vision changes have made it frustrating to try to continue to use my beloved iron sighted military rifle. Very much hoping that this product will be adaptable to the above mentioned rifles.

I might be mistaken, but I think this is the same technology used in multifocal contact lenses... It certainly looks similar anyway.

A "red dot" isn't legal for service rifle, but certainly ought to be for match rifle! Problem is they're not too useful owing to the relatively large diameter of the smallest dot available.

This technology ought to be considered as a functional equivalent of an aperture sight lens insert, already quite legal under NRA competition rules.

From what I've read on other forums, there are well-respected vendors who are working to bring this technology to shooters fairly soon.
