This was a HUGE mistake. Every cartridge had six categories to describe its performance: Bullet Weight, Powder Used, Charge weight, Velocity, Energy, and Source/Comments. In the 10th edition, NONE of the NEW cartridges have the energy filled in. NONE of them. If you want a quick and handy reference for performance beyond the arbitrary velocity figures, then you need to know the energy. You can figure this out and write it into every single page, or you can skip it, and not buy the book until they fill in that data, which is what I recommend. They didn’t do it in the 10th edition, or the 11th, and I somehow doubt they did it in the 12th.
