The last few batches of 308 and 6.5×47 (inconsistencies are well documented on this site in the guns of the week section) I have seen are grossly inconsistent in neck wall thickness and weight. Winchester and Remington were proving more consistent than the Lapua variety.
Historically I would choose to shoot Lapua brand brass but recent inconsistencies were disappointing and forcing me to shoot other brands. Although these 200 are hardly a significant sample, I hope that all brass coming from them is consistent as in the article. If so I will be shooting Lapua again.
