OK, so how do the numbers compute if you’ve been unemployed for most of this year?

Perhaps living off unemployment compensation from your prior employer (who’s since gone belly up) with perhaps a more significant contribution from your meager IRA retirement savings – a few years earlier that you’d expected to begin withdrawals – while at the same time the “paper” value of which is significantly diminished from persistent market pessimism?

Who’s money is it, anyway? Obviously it’s the Fed’s, you just get the benefit of the value… as long as it continues to have any, that is.

There’s better websites than this for tax issues. There is no better website for shooting sports. If you wanna play politics, how about helping determine the source of the Korean M1 importation holdup? Then we can apply appropriate and accurate political pressure. Don’t forget the reversal, a few months back, of the gummint policy to destroy surplus brass instead of making it available to shooters.

Remember that this includes sales taxes and hidden costs in items you purchase. Gasoline has a tax built in, tires have excise taxes and a disposal fee, regulatory and taxes on corporations are incorporated into the cost of all sorts of products. Firearms and ammunition have their own taxes.
