i have ownd a 700bdl for over 30yrs. and have never had any problems with the trigger design or the weapon. i also have a remington “sendaro” for over 5 yrs with no, i repeat, no problems. i wouldn’t own anyother manufacture’s hunting rifles……

Any product is only as safe as the “nut behind the “trigger”. Gun safety triumphs mechanical safeties w/o fail.

There is nothing wrong with the Model 700 trigger. I have owned more model 700 Remingtons than all other types of firearms combined. There is one thing that could be improved but this in no way indicates that anything is wrong.

I think their attack on remingtons trigger is weak. You dont go and buy a ferrari because its safe you buy it for its performance. What is cnbc’s point to get everyone to boycott remington? My 700’s are the best firearms i own Just MHO.

This is a total gimmick, chasing ghosts from 7 decades ago. I want to see one 700 that has blow up or had a part fail that wasn’t modified or tampered with previously. This is a deliberate attack on the firearms industry, a smoke screen or loophole to attack our 2nd ammendment rights. Off the soap box. Adam
