I believe in the state of Montana. Any electronic devices is not permitted on a hunting rifle. So this, range finding scopes, even red dots to my understanding are illegal for hunting.

I dunno. I'm a technology guy and I would still feel more comfortable using a scope that requires manually turning turrets and magnification and, at most, only has a battery for an illuminated reticle). From what I read, I didn't see any mention that the thing ranges targets so you'd still need the additional electronic device.

I prefer to memorize my drops at least out to 400 yards (not much variation for altitude or temperature) along with high angle hold unders and wind. For a shot longer than that (which I'd never take on game) I'll use an iPod Touch.

I'm not saying never, just that this isn't compelling enough (yet) to convince me to change what I'm doing.
