nice shooting, shot placement is everything. i am looking hard at building a plinker / deer hunter rig in this cal. (i build savage 10’s and 110’s into shooters in my geradge with shilen barrels and sss trigers with bel and carlson stocks, it’s the poor mans custom gun) it’s nice to read about someone doing just that.good hunting!

I too believe the 6BR is a far sight better than the 22-250 and 223 and would [work] for deer if I were allowed to hunt with it. Ohio

I’m not suprized- a 6BR is only slightly less ballistically than a .243, which has taken many deer, and eclipses a 22-250 and trounces a .223, both which have been used to take deer (though this is not a recommendation of such).
