Hi, I have the xt-22tsron order from Scheels for 229.00. I wanted the 981 ts but were all sold out. I will let you know how this gun shoots ect when I get it. Thanks.

Cheaper rimfire? I have a Marlin, $225 17HMR, Walmart special and it is fantastic! It is the most accurate gun for the money I have ever owned. I have several 5 shot groups around 1/4 inch at 50 yards! I shot some competitive .22 rifles that would be hard pressed to beat this very inexpensive rifle.

I hope their new line is as accurate as their old!

I’d have thought a more appropriate comparison was with Savage’s Accutrigger, which I have never found either annoying or unreliable. As Marlin appears to borrow/lease (?) many of the design features of its bolt-action guns from Savage, I would expect the Pro-Fire trigger to share the Accutrigger’s virtues. I have no experience of Glocks, however.
