I hope to get everything together so that I can go to SouthAfrica this year. Would like to visit Krugerpark and also dive in a cage and see A great white shark of the coast.

Yes, it is Mike Anzio’s 20/50 that he has been pushing the limits with. He claims he can possibly reach 3,600fps, but we will see. It also requires a 1:11 twist. We also make an 1033 grain BMG (ment for slower speeds) that is 1.75 B.C. (1:12 twist), a 975 grain 1.55 B.C.(1:13 twist), a 800 grain 1.17 B.C. and a 720 and 790HV (High Velocity Hollow Point), and all 3 work in a standard 1:15 twist. We are a custom bullet company, so we make bullets to mach the rifle, or whatever is required, but our bullets do no require special configurations. The longer, higher B.C. bullets will need a faster twist, but nothing more then that.

Anzio has a 50 that is a necked down 20 MM Vulcan. That’s got to be what is pushing 1100 gr. 3400 fps. Try http://www.anzioironworks.com

The anzio 20/50 (20mm vulcan necked to 50 caliber) is what cartridge is used. 600 grains of wc872 is the maximum load. The rifle without optics weighs 65 lbs, and pricing in single shot configuration(mag fed also available) and 45″ barrel is 7800 dollars.

I’d like to see the load that pushes a 1,100 gr. bullet 3400fps. Also, what action/barrel.

Hi! Does the barrel need any modification (throat,jump,twist,bore diameter, etc.)to use these bullets efectively and accurately?
