Unlike the 6CM, this one does not require initial trimming.

Perhaps Robert will comment on barrel life, but I would suspect that the barrel life is similar to that of the many variations of a .243 length 6 BR, which this looks very much like.

Still, it is a ready to go option.

How will barrel life differ from that of my .243 Ackley Improved? The .243 is usually noted for short barrel life and this one looks just like the AI version. Looks Great, though.

Very nice rifle! I hope you will keep us up to date with loads and info on this!
Especially those new Cutting Edge bullets, as well as those other lighter than 115 6mm pills.

What advantage does this cartridge have over the 6mm Remington or the 243 AI?

Hi,
Interesting cartridge indeed.
A few days back I was playing with some brass and a 6.5 creedmoor full length sizing die, and this cartridge looks a lot like a 6mm-6.5 creedmoor.

Somebody had to come with the 6mm version one way or another ;-).
