Thank you Paul, for clarifying that. I just assumed most shooters had used the rifle in a similar fashion I did, as a hunting rifle. I must admit I’ve been quite happy with the trigger and replacement spring though, hopefully others can use that link I provided.

Tanner, be fair with the numbers — there’s a BIG difference between the 12 ounces (0.75 lbs.) offered by the JARD complete trigger assembly and 1.5 pounds. The JARD is literally half the pull weight. Also the JARD offers adjustable overtravel and sear engagement. For many shooters the lighter pull and the adjustability are well worth the costs.

Don’t waste your money on aftermarket triggers! Get this spring for $6.95, here http://erniethegunsmith.com/catalog/i33.html I put one in last year it was a definite improvement in my T-3 Varmint 22-250, close to one and a half pounds like advertised.

Looks awfully like the Sako TRG folding stock, except without the ability to fold, or the Anschutz-style bottom accessory rail.
