To June and family,
I am truly sorry to hear the news about Ferris. I heard about it this past weekend at the crawfish shoot down in Texas. I truly wished I had got to meet him as I know with out a doubt we had a lot in common. Because of he and Lou’s little invention and the interest it sparked in me I have been able to make my living at this game for the last fifteen years. I sincerly thank him and Lou on behalf of everybody in the world who enjoys the prusuit of accuracy and precision built equipment.

My condolences to June and the Pindell family and friends. I am absolutely diminished by Ferris’ passing. He was my friend and client.

After he put the final touches on my meplat closing die, he wrote the December 16, 2002 letter I hold in my hand. It reads, in pertinent part: “In my over 60 years in the bench rest game, I have found the following to be true. Accuracy is the result of a multitude of tremendous trifles.”

There will NEVER be another Ferris Pindell. He may be absent form the body, but he is present with the Lord.
