300m in Germany (or most any EU country) is a luxury, so people are willing to pay a bit more. Although I doubt it is anything like $100 per month.

The problem in Germany is not the weather but density of population. Noise problems led to the closure of many outdoor ranges.
Ulm is unique because it offers a 300 meter indoor range, not just 100 m of which we have several in Bavaria.

My first thought was how horribly expensive it must be to have a membership to a place like this. Many of the outdoor ranges around here might have a $100 annual membership. A place like that in Germany could easily be $100 a month! I realize it’s more difficult and more expensive to own guns in most European countries, but I’ll keep the outdoor wood and paper targets in 90+ degrees with 100% humidity and $1100, thank you much!
