I would like to know where Nat purchased his Lapua 300 Win Mag brass.I’m after some as it hasn’t been available for years over here in Australia.

I had a very bad experience with some Nosler 300 Win mag brass. The neck thickness was severely varried in thickness. I called Nosler and they said to send it back to MidwayUSA where I bought it(they knew it was bad). I called MidwayUSA and they said send it back to Nosler. I ended up throwing it in the trash and bought some Lapua brass. I want ever buy or recomend Nosler components to anyone.

EDITOR: Nat — Thanks for the heads up on the 300WM brass. I can say that we have tried the 22-250 Nosler brass and it was pretty good — Not as good as Lapua, but pretty darn good. I have it on good authority that some (but not the majority) of Nosler Custom Comp brass is made by a European company that begins with ‘N’.

6.5×55 is only a 50 count box (not 100 — I called Nosler) – even at the discount price that is about the price for Lapua if you shop around.
