It would put a handicapped(1 arm) shooter at a greater disadvantage than they already are at. might as well allow clip fed rifles.
next step is to put the push button behind the bolt so that opening the bolt presses the button and feeds the shell.
a clip is a clip is a clip

The NBRSA rule book says, "such rifles shall be loaded by hand, one cartridge at a time,
and fired as a single shot. No magazine, clip or similar device
shall be allowed." I predict that the powers that be will rule that this means that loaded rounds have to be placed in the action by shooters' hands, as distinct from remotely actuating a process that causes rounds to fall into the action. I think that the invention is clever and apparently well made, but I believe that the intent of the rule is clear.

Carlos,

This would be a great addition for our Varmint/Ground Hog matches if it could be adapted for the 6BR Norma round.

WOW! thats slick! the thing is that each round has to be manualy activated into the action so does this mean it is a magazine fed rifle? the bonus with that set up is you could load sighter rounds through the right port then swing to the feed button for record shots. i dont shoot benchrest but it bould be a good bit of gear for f class!!

I believe that this magazine is illegal under the current rules, except possibly in the case of Hunter Benchrest.

Racing has rules. Lots of fellows could make faster cars if they didn't have to follow them. Fair competition requires some sort of formula under which competing equipment is qualified. Those who complain about the rules of benchrest are few, and IMO will never compete, in sanctioned competition, no matter what the rules are changed to. I do admire the slickness with which it functions, and that it seems to be able to handle more delicate ammunition without degrading it. The design and execution seem to be excellent, well thought out.
