Played around with this powder a while back loading .338 Lapua Magnum for a Savage rifle. I actually got ONE test load, three rounds measured on my chronometer (I had five made up but two didn't register) with a TWO fps standard deviation. Never got a chance to really explore this as I ran out of powder (I seem to recall 338 LM eating up about 93 grains per round and a pound goes FAST) and it wasn't available anywhere at the time. i really wish VV would sell this in 5 or 8 lb jugs - it's the priciest, yet very likely the most consistent powder available, when it's available. I'd like to use it for 300 win mag but hate developing a load I can't find the powder to make up in quantity.

Grazie 1000
