I tried the Berger 180 hybrids together with the 175 and 180 sierras at 1000y. Mixed in five shot string right after each other. Absolutely no elevation difference, maybe 1/4moa but that would be all. No real wind advantage to either. Seems like these bullets have BC’s in the same league, despite what they claim on paper. The hybrids do look nice and are not as finicky as the VLDs in regard to seating.

is there a 7mm version on the drawing board? thats the one i need.

I was hoping the hybrid design would work its way down to the 105. I am out of 6mmBR bullets and while I had been shooting the 107 mk’s I think I will have to try some of these first. Any ETA of availability?
