I can think of only one manufacturer of those at the moment and the price is several times higher than Pierce’s. If Pierce were able to offer a CRF action at a 50% higher price than their Remington 700 clone, they would sell quite a few of those as well.

The hardened steel bolt head locks direcly into the barrel so no issues with strength. You could even make the bolt alumimum. I don’t get this obsession with Remington footprints.
