Have a 15-45x Bushnell spotting scope, it fell off the shooting bench, 32″ to a concrete surface. Obvious damage with a ratteling inside. Sent it for repair, explaining that it was my fault. They said it would cost more to repair then it was worth, but would give me a $50 credit with the purchase of a new one, at their inflated retail+ price. Told them to return it. They did. Took it apart & found one prism lens had come loose. Cemented it in place with Brownells AccraGlass & it’s been usable ever since. Last time I ever bought a Bushnell product.

I had a Bushnell Yardage pro 800. The alignment grid disapeared. I called Bushnell. They said return it with $10.00 and they would repair it. Weeks later, I got a letter saying it could not be repaired as someone had already been inside the unit. I knew this was not the case (bought it new) and asked them to return it. Weeks later after a second letter it was returned. I gave it a thorough examination and the screws holding it together had been sealed with paint during manufacture. So obviously no one had been inside it. I had nothing to loose so I did take it apart and the problem was the sighting grid was held in place with cellophane tape that had lost its stick. I made a simple repair with epoxy. I was so pissed that I gave it away and swore I would never own another Bushnell product. I don’t recomend them to anyone else. I love my Leica 1600 and Nikon for bow hunting.

It would have been great had they done this five years ago. I bought a binocular/rangefinder that would not focus. Returned it twice under warranty, they said nothing wrong, and would not replace it. I sold it, and bought a Leupold. No more Bushnell products for me, and I have purchased many of theirs over the years.
