Although I would have preferred for Redding to comment privately to me on the information I sent them a couple of years ago - they haven't - I am pleased to see they decided to use my idea for a slip on adapter to their powder measures for the easy fillings of the 17's and 20's and offer it to the public in its simplest form.
It dawned on me several years ago that it might be possible to manufacture an adapter for Redding, RCBS and other powder measures which would allow for quick and accurate conversion of any given measure from standard drop tube to sub caliber or compact loads without having to disassemble anything. I was/am right, but, alas, none of the likely established outlets for same could be bothered at the time. All the more their loss. The adapter I use on my Redding measure works great. Switching among the four drop tubes I utilize couldn't be easier.
