I inquired about purchasing one, about a year ago-they hadn’t listed the price on any site yet. 2800.00 I think- c0uldnt understand the exobadent pricing? Hell a tiny camera set up could be made in China for a few hundred dollars -yup definitely a government boondoggle-
Don’t think this comany will be around long –
But I do believe in the not to distant future a go pro type comany will pick up the ball so to speak -I’d say high quality video could be had for around 1000.00 tops

For all that money for this product that is the best website they could come up with to display it? Not a single video shot with it to demonstrate anything. At this price it will be gone as quick as it got here. I don’t even think government would want it honestly since they wouldn’t want recordings of every shooting they are involved in something tells me. We have been looking for something that does just this to see what people who are world class shooters are seeing in their scopes as they take a shot to really analyiz their shot process better. But for the price of these units I will have to wait for something else to come along I guess which it will soon with all the digiscoping of rifles and spotting scopes these days.

I suspect the price was set pretty high to recover development costs and because the “early adopters” will be law enforcement agencies spending your tax dollars. We know that public agencies seem very willing to pay exorbitant prices for the latest gear and gizmos.

Neat, but why is it so expensive? All that’s required is an Accutact Anglesight, an inexpensive video camera – and why not an IR-sensitive one at that for NV use?- and a plastic housing.
