Larry is doing some chamber work for me right now as well as some work on another action. Dam nice guy, I wish I found this article a few weeks ago.Oh well. As soon as I shoot out the barrel on my Hog Hunter I will send it to him to convert into a 6BR/308 switch barrel rig. He is also experimenting on an accutrigger for me, turning a standard accutrigger into a BR accutrigger, anxious to see how it comes out as I love that concept.

I have seen Larry do a demo of his quick change barrel system in parking lot of a hotel one evening. I was truly impressed as he demonstrated his system.

The system does work great — John Whidden was doing this in the late 90’s. Great minds often think alike.

Could you not do the same thing on a round barrel with rubber strap wrench?

I ahve one of Larry’s Swithc barrel guns – in 6mmBR and 223 Rem. I had Larry fit two bolts as the cartridges are different. Love the gun – 6mmBR is shooting in the .3’s with my old tired eyes. I ahve not shot the 223 barrel yet.
