Where is a readable format or a pdf ?

EDITOR: I’m not sure if it allows downloads outside the US, but try clicking on the gear-shaped icon at right side of page. It looks like it allows you to save to your online library, though I don’t see a PDF option.

Oh, man. The book “How I became a crack shot” is a blast to read in 2012.

Thank you for posting this. These are great resources; especially Mann’s book for external ballistics. It’s dated but some of the principles are timeless.
