I live in northern California, in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. California is often a frustrating place (dysfunctional state government, unrealistic sense of entitlement, slacker culture), but after much travel in the US I find California the most varied and beautiful state in the nation. This video helped remind me why I’m a hiker and backpacker as well as a shooter. I got up to 9800′ yesterday, snowshoes most of the way. Legs still sore, but it was worth it.
