Thank you, Ed. I’ll give them a call. We used to have some semisoft, dense foam that we would custom carve for equipment boxes when I was in the Reagan Air Force. Wish I’d paid attention to who made it!

I believe the foam I used was closed cell. Didn’t look, I just wanted something more rigid than the usual stuff. My source was the scrap box at work. There is a place near where I lived in VT that sold foam. However, don’t know if they carried closed cell. Their number is (802)899-4668. I used their foam to outfit my stinger missle case for 2 rifles.

What was the source on the foam? I’m looking for some ultratough closed cell stuff to precisely carve for my work rifle and shotgun in a Pelican 1750. Do not like the pluck stuff.
